Advertisements based on things that our online data has found us to be interested in would be shown as we are more likely to purchase the product or service. This is different from the traditional way of marketing since there is little way to get the product or service to the
target audience other than using location demographics. With digital marketing, it’s much easier to pinpoint what the audience is interested in to gain a wider active audience.


The Ease of Sharing

With traditional marketing, there is heavy reliance on word of mouth since people usually trust people they know. Although this is still very beneficial for a business wanting to gain customers, it’s not as fast growing and beneficial as sharing through social media.


Sharing a post or video on social media is a way to show friends and family something you want them to also see, whether it be on
Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. This not only gains traffic for the social media platforms, but also helps in the world of digital marketing. Sharing posts on social media has become as easy as clicking a button.


Because so much of our technology these days serves the purpose of convenience-ing our everyday lives, making things easier naturally makes it happen more. People no longer have to call their friends and family or meet them in person to talk about a new product they found that they love. Now they can just share the product to the masses through social media.


Easier Access

There is a reason why the use of communication through social media has become so widely used. This is mainly due to the fact that communication through social media is very convenient and fast. Talking to hundreds of people can be as easy as clicking a button.
